Klamath Tribe Klamoya Travel Center (Crater Lake Junction Travel Center)

January 23, 2025 by

Description

CIDA partnered with PNE Corporation and worked closely with the Klamath Tribes to design this 8,000-square-foot convenience store and truck stop in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The facility served as an important amenity for the Tribe in addition to serving the surrounding community.

CIDA’s scope included adding a new drive-up window and gift shop area, updating the exterior finishes, and revising the building to meet the current Oregon Structural Specialty Code. The wood-framed building and roof system were thoughtfully designed to balance functionality, durability, and cultural context, reflecting CIDA’s collaboration with the Klamath Tribes and commitment to supporting tribal enterprises.
