Structural Engineer in Training
Job Description: CIDA is currently seeking a structural designer / EIT with experience designing a variety of building types and structures in various building materials, including concrete, steel, masonry, and wood-frame construction. Experience in structural detailing, seismic design and evaluation of existing structures a plus. The successful candidate must be capable of preparing structural calculations and construction drawings for commercial, residential, mixed-use, and industrial projects.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Candidates must have earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and relevant experience up to three years is a plus. The candidate should be articulate and self-motivated, have good verbal and written communication skills, be organized, and be proficient in AutoCAD and BIM/Revit.
