Description
CIDA provided comprehensive design services for the 53,000 square foot, concrete tilt, Multi-Service Center in Corvallis. The building provides office and special program space for Child Welfare (CW) and Self-Sufficiency (SSP) programs with additional space for Employment Services and Processing Center. Given the sensitive nature of these programs, security zoning and access control were major design considerations. Security zones include public areas, controlled areas, and exclusion areas. The interior finishes not only needed to promote comfort and a sense of home for all users, but also provide high durability and low maintenance. CIDA worked closely with the DHS team to coordinate final FF&E placement of stocked and newly purchased furniture throughout the facility.
This project was a Design-Build effort in collaboration with Fortis Construction. Throughout the years, CIDA and Fortis have built a solid partnership, working together on many successful Design-Build projects.
