TSA Washington County HOPE Center
Description
CIDA partnered with The Salvation Army to remodel the Washington County HOPE Center in response to the growing need for hunger relief services throughout the region. The project transformed approximately 5,000 square feet of existing space into an expanded food distribution hub and food pantry, creating a more efficient and welcoming environment for staff, volunteers, and community members.
The tenant improvement focused on increasing capacity, improving operational workflows, and enhancing the overall client experience. The redesigned facility provides dedicated areas for food storage, sorting, distribution, and client services, allowing The Salvation Army to better serve individuals and families facing food insecurity in Washington County.
By doubling the footprint of this critical community resource, the expanded HOPE Center can now support twice as many families in need. The project reflects CIDA’s commitment to designing spaces that strengthen communities and help nonprofit organizations achieve their missions.
