Description
When Mountainside Veterinary Hospital outgrew the facility CIDA had previously designed for their growing practice, they returned to our team to help create a larger, purpose-built clinic that could support their continued success while enhancing the experience for staff, clients, and patients.
The new 8,300 SF veterinary hospital was thoughtfully designed to accommodate the expanding needs of the practice and provide efficient, high-quality care in a welcoming environment. The facility includes multiple exam rooms, a dedicated pharmacy, separate dog and cat kennels, an isolation room, open treatment areas, sterile and laboratory spaces, X-ray and surgical suites, administrative offices, storage, and staff support spaces.
A key design priority was creating a seamless workflow that supports patient care from arrival through treatment and recovery. The layout promotes efficiency for veterinary staff while helping reduce stress for animals and their owners through intuitive circulation, comfortable waiting areas, and the separation of canine and feline spaces.
Working closely with Mountainside Veterinary Hospital and Pacific Crest Structures, CIDA helped bring the vision for this expanded facility to life. The result is a modern veterinary hospital designed to support exceptional care today while providing the flexibility and capacity needed for future growth.
