Parkway Woods

Description

The Parkway Woods Business Park contains over 500,000 square feet of Class A office and flex space spread across multiple buildings on a roughly 135 acre site. CIDA worked with the owner to revamp the existing facilities and improve its appeal to prospective tenants. The most significant project was to transform the outdated 7,900 SF cafeteria space into a shared lounge, recreation, and fitness area which has become a treasured amenity of the business park. In addition to architectural and interior design, CIDA helped develop the program, which features a fireplace, built-in counters overlooking a TV lounge, communal eating area, and a compact layout of exercise and yoga rooms with associated private showers. A large overhead door allows the eating area to spill out onto the patio during warm weather, and the open layout encourages interaction between the building occupants whether they are meeting for work or taking a break.
