Northwest Line JATC Training Facility
Description
The Northwest Line JATC was in need of a bigger space for their training programs that train journeyman linemen to serve the electrical construction and maintenance industry. Programs include the VOLTA Line School, Line Apprenticeship training, Powerline Clearance Tree Trimming training, IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers), and NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association).
The facility includes an 18,164 SF classroom facility with administrative offices, board room, multi-purpose room able to seat up to 332 people, and commercial kitchen. A separate 21,643 SF building includes an indoor training yard, storage rooms, locker rooms, and additional classrooms. There is also an outdoor training area.
The buildings are custom pre-manufactured steel buildings with upgraded insulated metal panel walls and roofs.
