CIDA is proud to celebrate the recognition of Union Gospel Mission’s Women’s LifeChange Center, Angela’s House, as a Daily Journal of Commerce (DJC) Top Project.
More than just a building, Angela’s House was designed to provide a safe, supportive environment where women and children can find healing, stability, and hope. The project combines trauma-informed design principles with thoughtfully integrated residential, counseling, and community spaces, creating a place that fosters long-term transformation and meaningful connection.
The success of Angela’s House reflects the power of collaboration. Delivered through a design-build approach, the project benefited from a highly integrated team committed to a shared mission from concept through completion. Strong partnerships, creative problem-solving, and a focus on outcomes helped bring this important community resource to life.
