CIDA Architects & Engineers is proud to celebrate Associate Architect Colony Weyrauch, nominated for the 2025 DJC Phenoms & Icons Award. With ten years in the architecture industry and a B.Arch from the University of Oregon, Colony has built a reputation as a dedicated leader, collaborator, and advocate for sustainable, people-focused design.
Since joining CIDA, Colony has helped strengthen the firm’s culture and project delivery—supporting new staff, elevating office standards, and leading teams on award-winning work, including PCC Rock Creek Dealer Services Technology Building (Top Project, Diversity Award, LEED Gold) and Papé Group’s Peterson Hillsboro Campus (Top Project). Her relationship-driven approach has expanded key client partnerships and fostered mentorship throughout the firm.
Colony has been a driving force in CIDA’s sustainability efforts, revitalizing the CIDA Green Team, launching office-wide recycling initiatives, and encouraging both colleagues and clients to adopt more environmentally responsible practices.
Her commitment to community extends far beyond the office. She volunteers with organizations including Lifeworks NW, Oregon Humane Society, and Girls on the Run, and regularly organizes CIDA Gives service events with partners such as Habitat for Humanity, Catalyst NW, and The Salvation Army.
Colony’s colleagues describe her as compassionate, encouraging, solutions-focused, and the embodiment of CIDA’s core values. A leader who “lights up a room,” she consistently goes above and beyond for clients, teammates, and the communities we serve.
